The Psychiatry Redefined Fellowships in Functional & Integrative Psychiatry provide in-depth training that establishes and certifies you as a top-tier mental health provider. Our Fellowship programs blend traditional behavioral health with functional and root cause medicine for mental health, providing a clinical toolbox for treating and resolving the unique, underlying imbalances causing mental illness. Over the course of their study, fellows in both our General Fellowship and Pediatric Fellowship gain competency and training in integrative, nutritional, metabolic and precision medicine protocols for mental illness. Upon completion of our Fellowships, you can obtain official Psychiatry Redefined Certificates of Training Completion, and you will be acknowledged as a Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Medicine Provider (PRCFMP) or Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Medicine Pediatric Provider (PRCFMPP). Curriculum for the Psychiatry Redefined Fellowships is planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of MedicusCME and Comprehensive Psychiatric Resources, Inc. Certificate FAQs

Will I be certified in Functional Medicine upon completion of a Fellowship?

Yes! When you complete the General Fellowship in Functional Psychiatry and the Pediatric Fellowship in Functional Psychiatry training in full, you can become a Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Medicine Provider (PRCFMP) or a Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Medicine Pediatric Provider (PRCFMPP), and receive a Certificate of Training Completion – titles provided exclusively by Psychiatry Redefined.

Completing all Core Curriculum for both Fellowship programs is required to obtain a certified title and certification. The Pediatric Fellowship also requires that you pass a final curriculum exam to obtain certification. Claiming eligibility for a certificate and title is entirely optional. When you complete a Psychiatry Redefined Fellowship, you will become a certified provider and you may obtain a Certificate of Completion – both exclusively bestowed by Psychiatry Redefined.

Yes! Upon completion of all Core Curriculum in the General Fellowship and the Pediatric Fellowship, you may receive a Certificate of Completion and a certified provider title. The Pediatric Fellowship also requires that fellows pass a final exam in order to obtain certification.

CME Certification: These are also available to those who intend to claim CME credits for their participation in the specific and accredited courses in our Fellowship trainings. These CME certificates are separate certifications that have been approved by the ACCME. Please see the CME section of the FAQs page for more information.

How do I become certified and get a Fellowship certificate?

After the first year (12 months) of your Fellowship study, you may become a certified provider and receive a Certificate of Completion. Completing all courses and claiming eligibility for a certificate is entirely optional.

  • General Fellowship: Fellows must complete all core (required) courses that comprise the General Fellowship. Required courses are marked as such in the Syllabus. Fellows who have completed all Core Curriculum may request a Completion Review with the Fellowship Director after the full 12 months of study. If the review confirms completion of all required courses, instructions for obtaining your Fellowship Certificate of Completion and obtaining official recognition as a Certified Provider will be provided to you.
  • Pediatric Fellowship: To obtain certification, fellows must complete all curriculum outlined in the Pediatric Syllabus, and pass a final certification exam. After the first year of study, fellows who have both completed all curriculum and passed the Certification Exam may obtain a Fellowship Certificate of Completion and official recognition as a Certified Provider.

What are the required components of the Psychiatry Redefined Fellowship?

Completion of all courses listed within the Core Curriculum for the General Fellowship are required in order to obtain a Certificate of Completion and certified title. For the Pediatric Fellowship, fellows must complete all Core Curriculum and pass a final Certification Exam in order to obtain a Certificate of Completion and certified title.

  • Completing all courses of the Core Curriculum and claiming eligibility for a certificate is entirely optional.
  • Fellows have access to all courses and program material for two years; fulfillment of these completion requirements may be claimed anytime after the first year of study.
